Wildlife memories, Part 1
Our favorite encounters
Aminals! (misspelling intentional) In Idaho!
I think the number one reason life on the road is so attractive is the guarantee that you will see and experience things you never have before. Diversities of people, food, nature - so many aspects of life to experience! I find that the new sights and sounds and memories don’t take away . . .

Warm, dry, and almost always sunny
It's summertime in Island Park
Might I introduce you?
It is my great pleasure to (virtually) welcome you to Island Park, Idaho! I'm enjoying a beautiful sunny summer day from the second floor of the Island Park Library. Wide-open windows and two hard-working ceiling fans circulate the fresh mountain air. It's a great setting from which to give you a brief first glance . . .

Radiator fans/Elk City
Hippie buses and bike races
We've done quite a bit of work on the van and finished one very exciting (for us) project in the camper. Today's article will take you through our radiator fan project, and tell you a little about the areas we stayed in when we did the work.

Installation and testing (with pictures)
Since this article is long and picture-heavy, I've published our travel update with pictures in a separate post. A link at the bottom of this post will take you to that article.
Finally!
Our 16’ Casita now has a permanent heater powered by propane and electric.
I hope I can accurately express how amazing it . . .

We made it!
Rock Springs WY to Montpelier ID
We are in Idaho. IDAHO! The state where Dennis has spent the last two summers, the place he's been telling me about since we first started talking. All our travel plans were made with this state in mind. It's very exciting to have crossed the state lines! We have a very few (double digits!!!!) more miles to go . . .

Foodies on the Road
It's vegetable time!
Hello from eastern Texas!
We are enjoying a sunny, breezy day! This finds us between campsites, making use of free WiFi in a quiet, clean laundromat. Clean clothes for the win!
Edit: We were dazzled by this sunset sky at our new campsite on Lake Winnsboro later in the day:

Baby, It's Cold Outside
Oh, right - snowbirds stay south for the winter for a reason.
Howdy from the Natchez Trace in Mississipppi! We found a beautiful site here at Rocky Springs. The past couple mornings its most appealing feature was in our fire barrel!
Even with the cold, it’s nice to be in the woods again, amongst tall, tall trees. There’s a mix of hardwood and evergreen. Cedar trees are common. A couple . . .
